A few final snapshots

It has presently been one month since I have left Alert. With copious amounts of administration to tackle, I haven't been able to post nearly as many of the photographs that I would have liked to by this point in time. Now that things have settled at work and I am slowly easing back into my "down south" routine, I will likely be able to post some of the photos and stories from my remaining few weeks at CFS Alert. I would like to thank everyone who has followed along thus far and I hope that it continues to prove an interesting read once I have completed all the posts that I would like to complete!

  1. Well I guess I must be your biggest fan and enjoy every post. Make sure you print and save a copy of all the pictures and writings as this experience will affect your outlook on life from here on. Love the wolf pic's. Love Dad

  2. Thanks to YOU for ALL your beautiful pictures you have posted on your blog!!!!! I like it to see the 'travel' of your job! And, I think it is a good idea from your dad to save a copy of all your pictures!!
With love, from the Netherlands, Herma

  3. I've enjoyed your blog as much as your Dad! Your pics are amazing..the wolf ones are wonderful! I'm sure it was hard to be so far from home, but what an experience. You should put this blog into book form with all the pictures. It would be a great keepsake and journal of your time up there. Thanks for sharing..it made our winter seem so Florida-like!

  4. I'm just a stranger who stumbled onto your site, looking for info for a novel i'm writing as an English Thesis, but after reading one post I was hooked and checked for new posts almost daily. The only thing more beautiful than your photos were your descriptions, and I'm both happy and sad that your adventure has come to an end. You seem like a wonderful person and I hope your life is filled with more adventure (hopefully ones that I can read about).

I agree with the post above - this blog should be put into book form.
I want to thank you for the amazing wolves and arctic landscapes on my screen saver, and for the little boost it gave me each day to read a new post. If you ever plan to start another blog, let me know (jmalon1515@gmail.com)

  5. As always your photos are incredible! I love those pink flowers - beautiful! I'm glad you're finally home though, and although I do look forward to a few remaining Alert posts, will you be re-opening My Heart Stumbles now that you're no longer located north of 60?

  6. Hi there, I log on to your new stuff like every week.

  7. My partner and I absolutely love your blog and find most
of your post's to be exactly I'm looking for. Do you offer guest writers to
write content in your case? I wouldn't mind writing a post or elaborating
on a number of the subjects you write with regards to here.
    Again, awesome website!
